Job summary

PT Merdeka Copper Gold is seeking a senior Corporate FP&A professional to deliver corporate financial management reports, executive committee packages, and dynamic financial models to support strategic decisions. You will support transaction valuations by providing robust models and data packages to KJPP, while coordinating cross-functionally to track site performance.

The role requires 4–6 years in Corporate FP&A or related fields, plus at least 3 years at a Big 4 firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or related field.
• 4–6 years in Corporate FP&A, financial modelling, or consolidation reporting.
• 3 years of Big 4 experience.
• Experience in mining, construction, or heavy industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop dynamic baseline and post-transaction financial models for valuation purposes.
• Review term sheets, contracts, and financial breakdowns for data packages for KJPP.
• Maintain models for asset revaluations and impairment testing.
• Prepare quarterly internal financial reports on P&L, cash flow, and debt.

Summary:

To prepare corporate financial management reports, executive committee packages, and dynamic financial models. This role supports transaction valuations by providing accurate financial models and data packages to an independent valuation firm (KJPP), while driving cross-functional coordination to track site performance and facilitate strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Develop dynamic baseline and post-transaction financial models (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) to support independent valuation firms (KJPP) in assessing transaction impacts and determining fair value for intercompany transactions.
• Review and evaluate transaction documentation such as term sheets, contracts, and financial breakdowns to prepare and supply required data packages to KJPP for fairness opinion reviews.
• Build and maintain financial models on a periodic or ad hoc basis to support asset revaluations and routine impairment testing.
• Prepare detailed quarterly internal financial reports tracking P&L, cash flow, and active loan/debt transactions.
• Develop monthly executive committee reporting packages to support leadership strategic decision-making.
• Liaise closely with Corporate Planning and operational teams/accounting to streamline data collection, conduct site variance analyses, and track current vs. forecasted site performance.
• Continuously enhance financial modelling templates and reporting tools to increase accuracy and reporting efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Related Fields.
• Minimum 4 – 6 years of experience in Corporate FP&A, Financial Modelling, or Financial Consolidation Reporting.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of prior experience at a Big 4 accounting firm.
• Experience in mining, construction, manufacturing, or heavy industries is preferred.
• Attention to detail, analytical thinking, strong coordination skills, and professional integrity.
• Advanced financial modelling (3-statement models), valuation concepts, and variance analysis.
