Job summary

PT. Erajaya Swasembada, Tbk. is seeking an experienced Corporate Lawyer to ensure compliance with laws and governance standards in Jakarta. The role involves drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, reviewing regulatory matters, and coordinating with notaries and authorities to safeguard company interests.

The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years of corporate legal experience, strong contract knowledge, and a proactive approach to risk management across multi-entity operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law.
• 4–6 years of corporate legal experience, preferably in retail, trading, distribution, or a multi-entity organization.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian corporate law, commercial contracts, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience coordinating with notaries, government authorities, and external legal counsel.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple legal matters independently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure corporate activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and government policies.
• Maintain corporate legal documents, licenses, permits, and statutory records.
• Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements, contracts, MoUs, and other legal documents.
• Ensure contractual terms protect the company's interests and minimize legal exposure.
• Provide legal advice and recommendations to internal departments regarding operational and commercial matters.
• Identify potential legal risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Conduct legal reviews and due diligence for business partnerships, projects, and other corporate transactions.
• Support corporate actions, including changes to company data, shareholder documentation, board resolutions, and notarial matters.
