Job summary

Quest Oracle Community seeks a Core Banking Platform Engineer in Jakarta to ensure stability, performance, and seamless operations for mission-critical core banking environments. You will investigate platform issues, support deployments, and collaborate with client stakeholders across development, test, and production.

The role requires 3–6 years in platform engineering, strong Oracle/PLSQL skills, OpenShift experience, and API proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 3-6 years of platform engineering experience in core banking environments.
• Strong Oracle and PL/SQL skills; familiarity with Linux and shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) and Apache Kafka.
• API proficiency: REST/HTTP, OAuth2, and API observability.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities and clear communication.
• Experience engaging with clients during incidents and releases.
• Nice to have: Avaloq experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across application services, integrations, background jobs, and database components.
• Perform root‑cause analysis using logs, metrics, and configuration reviews; produce clear technical findings.
• Support installation, integration, and validation of application changes across multiple environments.
• Monitor platform health (storage/tablespaces, scheduled jobs, services) and drive preventative actions.
• Build/execute scripts and SQL/PLSQL queries for diagnostics and daily operations.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, and architecture teams on releases and environment readiness.
• Provide timely, professional communication and technical support to client teams.
