Job summary

JAPFA is seeking a reliable Egg Incubation and Cool Room Operator for our Bati-Bati facility. You will ensure optimal conditions in the cool room and setter machines to safeguard egg quality and production efficiency.

Responsibilities include operating and monitoring equipment, adjusting temperature and humidity, recording cycle data, performing basic maintenance, and adhering to safety and environmental policies as part of a collaborative production team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating cool room or setter machines preferred in a hatchery or farm setting.
• Know-how of egg incubation and storage basics.
• Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
• Attention to detail and ability to spot anomalies.
• Physical stamina to lift and move egg trays.
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting ability.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and holidays as required.
• Good communication skills.

Responsible for the efficient operation of the cool room and setter machines, ensuring optimal conditions for egg incubation and storage at our Bati-Bati facility. This role is crucial for maintaining product quality and production efficiency.

Job Responsibilities**

• Operate and monitor cool room and setter machines according to established protocols and safety guidelines.
• Adjust machine settings (temperature, humidity, ventilation) as needed to maintain ideal conditions for egg storage and incubation.
• Load and unload egg trays into setter machines efficiently and carefully.
• Monitor egg quality, identifying and reporting any abnormalities or damages.
• Perform routine checks and minor maintenance on cool room and setter equipment, reporting any malfunctions or necessary repairs to supervisors.
• Maintain accurate records of cool room conditions, setter cycles, and egg movements.
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene within the cool room and setter areas.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth production flow.

Job Qualifications**
