Job summary

Bizhare, based in Jakarta, seeks a Java backend software engineer with 3+ years of hands-on experience to develop scalable backend systems. You will work with Spring Framework, SQL/NoSQL databases, and ORM tools like Hibernate to build robust services.

You will contribute in an Agile/Scrum environment, design data-driven solutions, and write clean, maintainable, well-tested code while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Documentation and performance optimization are also part of the role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience utilizing Java backend technologies.
• Expertise in the Spring Framework or equivalent Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) Frameworks.
• Proven experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including hands-on proficiency with Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) Frameworks such as Hibernate.
• Experience with message broker systems, specifically RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment and actively contributing to the scrum team backlog.
• Demonstrated ability to build clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in distributed version control systems, such as Git.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality software utilizing best practices in distributed computing, messaging, microservices, performance tuning, and efficient memory and resource management.
• Design and implement robust, data-driven solutions.
• Collaborate effectively within cross-functional and agile teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Produce well-designed, testable, and modular code.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for software functionality.
• Execute performance analysis, debugging, and systematic bug resolution.
