Job summary

DayOne Data Centers is seeking an experienced CSA Construction Manager to oversee Civil, Structural, and Architectural work for a mission-critical data center project, coordinating with M&E teams and contractors.

The role requires a Civil/Structural/Architectural background, a minimum of 8 years CSA experience, and strong knowledge of CSA-MEP interfaces in data center contexts. On-site work in Jakarta, with a global project scope.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years CSA experience.
• Strong understanding of CSA-MEP interfaces; data center or mission-critical project experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Represent the client in overseeing all CSA construction activities, ensuring adherence to design intent, programme, safety, and quality standards.
• Monitor and review the main contractor’s execution of structural, architectural, and external works across all project phases.
• Attend site inspections, technical meetings, and progress reviews to ensure timely delivery of CSA scope.
• Ensure all CSA works comply with local codes and standards (Singapore's BCA, SCDF, MOM, NEA) and approve QA/QC procedures and ITPs.
• Facilitate coordination between CSA and M&E teams, manage interfaces, and support early involvement in cross-disciplinary activities.

Trusted by leading hyperscalers and businesses, the company engineers, builds, and operates high-capacity, AI-ready campuses with speed, scale, and reliability.**Job Summary:**We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented CSA Construction Manager to represent the client in overseeing all Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) aspects of a mission-critical data center project in Malaysia. This role involves supervising contractors, ensuring compliance with local regulations and design standards, and coordinating closely with M&E teams. The successful candidate may also have the opportunity to support or transition into M&E oversight roles as the project progresses through installation and commissioning phases.**Key Responsibilities:****1. Project Oversight & Execution Monitoring** • Represent the client in overseeing all CSA construction activities, ensuring adherence to design intent, programme, safety, and quality standards. • Monitor and review the main contractor’s execution of structural, architectural, and external works across all project phases. • Attend site inspections, technical meetings, and progress reviews to ensure timely delivery of CSA scope.**2. Quality, Safety & Compliance** • Ensure all CSA works comply with Singapore’s BCA, SCDF, MOM, NEA, and relevant local codes and standards. • Review and approve contractor-submitted QA/QC procedures, inspection test plans (ITPs), and method statements. • Support environmental health and safety oversight aligned with WSH Act and corporate EHS protocols.**3. Coordination with M&E and Cross-Disciplinary Support** • Facilitate coordination between CSA and M&E teams, particularly for builder’s works (e.g. openings, equipment foundations, cable routing provisions). • Support M&E construction and commissioning phases by managing interface issues and ensuring structural/architectural readiness. • Opportunity to develop cross-disciplinary experience and support M&E package oversight for candidates interested in a broader project management path.**4. Stakeholder & Contractor Management** • Act as the client’s representative on-site, liaising with the main contractor, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve issues promptly. • Monitor contractor progress against the master schedule and flag risks or delays to the project manager. • Participate in change order assessments, cost reviews, and technical clarifications.**5.
