Zusammenfassung

PT Merdeka Copper Gold is seeking a senior Government Affairs professional in Indonesia to coordinate licensing documents with management and oversee permits and regulatory reporting. The role emphasizes strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and adherence to mining-related regulations.

Ideal candidates will have 8+ years in licensing/reporting within mining, plus English proficiency and K3 knowledge. The position requires team leadership and effective communication to influence stakeholders

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Law, or other related fields.
• Minimum 8 years of licensing and reporting within mining, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.
• Strong understanding of Indonesian laws and regulations related to mining operations.
• In-depth knowledge of licensing processes and procedures.
• Experience preparing AMDAL, RKL-RPL, and GANIS-related reports (ITSP, SIPPUH, SIPNB, LHP).
• Experience in AMDAL FS and PPKH permits is advantageous.
• Proficient in MS Office and MS Project; POP/POM certification is a plus.
• Experience leading and developing teams; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of English, both spoken and written; ability to influence stakeholders.
• Understanding of K3 principles and their daily application.

Aufgaben

• Support the Government Affairs Manager in coordinating licensing documents and applications with management.
• Manage existing permits and licenses and monitor regulatory compliance.
• Handle reporting activities including AMDAL, RKL-RPL, and GANIS-related requirements.
• Control documents and ensure company-wide adherence to licensing regulations.

This position is generally responsible for supporting the Government Affairs Manager in coordinating with management regarding licensing documents/applications, managing existing permits and licenses, handling reporting activities, as well as controlling documents and monitoring the company's compliance with applicable government regulations and licensing requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Law, or other related fields
• Minimum 8 years of experience in licensing and reporting within the mining industry, including at least 2 years in a managerial position
• Strong understanding of Indonesian laws and regulations related to mining operations
• In-depth knowledge of licensing processes and procedures
• Experienced in preparing mandatory reports such as AMDAL, RKL-RPL, and reports related to GANIS (ITSP, SIPPUH, SIPNB, LHP)
• Experience in preparing AMDAL Feasibility Studies (FS AMDAL), PPKH permits, and similar documentation will be an advantage
• Proficient in MS Office and MS Project
• POP/POM certification will be an advantage
• Experienced in managing, leading, and developing teams
• Good command of English, both spoken and written
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders effectively
