Job summary

OCBC NISP Tbk in Jakarta is seeking a Compliance professional to bridge OCBC Indonesia with Bank Indonesia and OJK, ensuring strict regulatory adherence and promoting integrity across operations.

You will monitor BI and OJK regulations, advise on policies, train teams, and coordinate with Business Units to embed compliant practices in daily activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law or related field with strong banking regulation knowledge.
• Proven regulatory compliance experience in the banking sector.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for regulators and internal teams.

Integrity is the cornerstone of trust. By joining the Compliance team, you will serve as the vital bridge between OCBC Indonesia and key regulators, primarily Bank Indonesia. You will excel by acting as the primary liaison for regulators, ensuring that our policies and operations remain compliant while enabling business growth through clear, timely advisory support.

What You Do:

• Monitor Regulatory Landscape: Continuously track and analyze new or amended regulations from Bank Indonesia (BI) and the Financial Services Authority (OJK) to ensure timely implementation.
• Lead Regulatory Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for BI, managing official correspondence, commitments, and accompanying supervisors during inspections to ensure smooth regulatory interactions.
• Provide Strategic Advisory: Offer compliance opinions and advisory services on internal policies, systems, and banking operations to ensure they align with current regulatory expectations.
• Drive Internal Coordination: Collaborate closely with Business Units and Special Functions to ensure full adherence to regulatory requirements, embedding compliance into daily operations.
• Manage Compliance Risks: Identify, analyze, and mitigate compliance risks within your scope, implementing preventive measures to safeguard the bank’s reputation and operations.
• Educate & Socialize: Conduct training sessions and workshops to ensure relevant teams understand and correctly apply new regulations, fostering a proactive compliance culture.

Who You Are:

• Educated & Specialized: Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field, with a strong foundation in banking regulations.
• Experienced Professional: Possess proven experience in Compliance within the banking industry, with a deep understanding of BI and OJK regulatory frameworks.
• Analytical Thinker: Demonstrate strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory texts and translate them into practical business guidance.
• Effective Communicator: Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, essential for liaising with regulators and coordinating across internal teams.
• Integrity-Driven: Maintain the highest standards of integrity, attention to detail, and resilience, able to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.
• Location: Based in South Jakarta.
