Job summary

RGE Pte Ltd in Pekanbaru, Indonesia seeks a mechanical technician to collect vibration/temperature data on rotary machines (pumps, fans, blowers, motors, compressors). You will analyze vibration, perform dynamic balancing, thermography and laser alignment, and report findings to Maintenance teams.

Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and identify machinery issues for corrective actions. The role requires hands-on troubleshooting of rotary equipment and a solid understanding of machine

Qualifications

• Experience in vibration analysis of rotary equipment.
• Ability to perform dynamic balancing and alignment.
• Familiar with thermography and maintenance planning.

Responsibilities

• Data collection of vibration/temperature for rotary machines.
• Perform vibration analysis and propose action plans.
• Troubleshoot machinery issues (unbalance, misalignment, looseness, cavitation).
• Balance dynamic equipment like fans as required.
• Conduct thermography for motors and bearings as scheduled.
• Carry out laser alignment as needed and report findings.
• Report results to Process and Maintenance teams for rectification.
• Support preventive maintenance schedules per plan.
