Job summary

APRIL is seeking a maintenance technician to support vibration and thermo-graphic analysis on rotary equipment at our Pangkalan Kerinci site. You will collect data on vibration and temperature for pumps, fans, blowers, motors and compressors, and perform spectrum-based evaluations.

You will diagnose issues such as unbalance, misalignment and cavitation, perform dynamic balancing, thermography, and laser alignment as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in vibration data collection for rotary equipment.
• Familiarity with vibration spectrum analysis is preferable.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance concepts.

Responsibilities

• Data collection of vibration and temperature for rotary machines (pumps, fans, blowers, motors, compressors).
• Vibration analysis for rotary equipment and providing action plans.
• Troubleshooting of rotary machines and identifying issues (unbalance, misalignment, looseness, cavitation).
• Dynamic balancing of fans and other rotary equipment as required.
• Perform thermography for motors and bearings per schedule.
• Laser alignment for rotary equipment as needed.
• Report findings to Process and Maintenance teams for corrective actions.
• Maintain knowledge of rotary machines and basic working principles.
• Manage preventive maintenance schedules per plan.

Responsibilities:

• Trouble shooting of Rotary machines and able to identify Machinery issues like Unbalance, Misalignment, Looseness, Cavitation etc..., based on Spectrum analysis.
• Able to do Dynamic balancing of Fans and other Rotary equipment's as per plant requirement.
• Perform Thermography for Motors and other Equipment bearings as per scheduled plan.
• Able to do Laser Alignment for the Rotary equipment's as per plan needs.
• Report the findings to respective Process and Maintenance team to rectify the issues.
• Good knowledge on Rotary machines and its basic working principles.
• Able to Manage the Preventive Maintenance schedules as per plan.
