Job summary

Hytech is seeking a Community Manager to build and scale trading communities across Indonesia. You will identify, develop, and manage relationships with community leaders, educators, analysts, and active traders, running programmes and engagement activities that drive user acquisition and ongoing platform participation.

The role requires 3–5 years in community management, with a fintech or trading background preferred, and strong Bahasa Indonesia and English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in community management, with acquisition focus.
• Proven track record growing active, engaged user communities at scale.
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow trading communities in Indonesia across major cities to drive user acquisition.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community founders, admins, educators, analysts, mentors, and active traders.
• Design community programmes, events, and initiatives to drive regular platform engagement.
• Manage Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, and other Indonesian trader channels and facilitate discussions on Forex, Gold, and market movements.
• Create and run interactive activities like polls, quizzes, and challenges to activate new communities and opportunities.

About the Role

We are looking for a Community Manager to build and grow our trading communities across Indonesia. You will identify, develop, and manage relationships with trading communities, educators, analysts, and active traders across major Indonesian cities, while running community programmes and engagement activities that drive acquisition and encourage regular interaction with the platform. This is a hands-on, relationship-driven role suited to someone who understands Indonesia's trading community landscape and knows how to grow and activate communities at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Community Growth & Acquisition: Build and grow trading communities in Indonesia, identifying and establishing relationships with existing trading communities across major Indonesian cities to drive user acquisition
• Partner & Relationship Development: Develop and maintain relationships with community founders, admins, trading educators, analysts, mentors, and active traders, building a structured database of potential and active community partners
• Community Programme Design: Develop community programmes, events, and initiatives that encourage traders to interact regularly with the platform and deepen engagement over time
• Channel Management & Engagement: Manage community channels across Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, and other platforms used by Indonesian traders, facilitating conversations around Forex, Gold, market movements, trading education, and platform activities
• Community Activation: Create and run interactive community activities including polls, discussions, quizzes, challenges, and other engagement formats, while identifying emerging trading communities and new opportunities for market penetration

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in community management, with a strong focus on acquisition-driven community building
• Proven track record managing community campaigns and growing active, engaged user communities at scale
• Experience in fintech, financial services, brokerage, trading, cryptocurrency, or technology industries is strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Indonesia's trading community landscape, including key platforms, community structures, and engagement behaviours
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage multiple community partnerships and stakeholder relationships simultaneously
• Professional proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English
