Job summary

PT Bank SMBC Indonesia Tbk is seeking an experienced leader to head collateral management operations and develop the Custodian team in Jakarta. You will ensure accurate processing, strong controls, regulatory compliance, and high service standards while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years in Banking Operations, a Law background preferred, and proven people management skills to guide a 3–4 person team.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) with a preference for Law background.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Banking Operations.
• Experience in leading a team of 3–4 people.
• Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
• Solid analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

• Lead and manage collateral management operations with focus on accuracy, timeliness, controls, and compliance.
• Develop and guide the Custodian team; handle escalations and stakeholder collaboration to ensure quality custodian services.

Responsible for leading and managing collateral management operations while ensuring accurate and timely processing, strong internal controls, regulatory compliance, and high service standards.

Lead and develop the Custodian team, manage operational issues and escalations, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and effective custodian services.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) preference have background in Law
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Banking Operations
• Have experience in managing team consist of 3-4 people
• Managerial Skills include: People Management, Performance Management, Capacity Planning & Financial Management
