HMS Bergbau AG is seeking a Coal Operation Staff to coordinate coal shipments and act as the liaison between buyers and suppliers. This role covers the full shipment cycle from contract and LC to shipping documents, invoicing, and laytime calculation, with reporting to supervision.

Ideal candidates have a university degree in International Business Administration, at least 2 years in coal operations or shipping, and strong English and Bahasa Indonesia communication skills. Jakarta Selatan site.

Coal Operation Staff position in a global commodity trading house focused on coal commodity trading and logistics. The role involves acting as a liaison between buyers and suppliers during ongoing shipments and managing the full shipment cycle from contract and LC to shipping documents, invoicing, and laytime calculation.

Qualification

Female/Male

University degree or equivalent in International Business Administration

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a coal operations or shipping company

Key responsibilities

Act as a liaison between buyers and suppliers during ongoing shipments, including maintaining effective communication with customers.

Handle the full shipment cycle: from contract and LC to managing shipping documents (including OBL, COO, COA), invoicing, and laytime calculation

Prepare and manage reports to superior as required

Ensure timely and accurate execution of operational tasks related to commodity shipments

Requirements

Preferably have experience in coal commodity operations

Strong communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia (English proficiency is mandatory)

Good Understanding of Export and Import shipping documents (OBL, COO, COA) and shipping terms (FOB, CIF, CFR, ETC)

Familiar with basic sale & purchase contract

Able to handling LC Export and Import

Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to work well both independently and in a team

Able to work under pressure and solve problems independently and willing to work flexible hours occasionally
