IHG is seeking a Cluster Safety & Risk Manager for Hotel Indigo and Holiday Inn Resort Bintan Lagoi Beach. You will lead security teams, develop safety programs, and ensure adherence to procedures across properties.

Responsibilities include directing security operations, delivering leadership training, and fostering cross-department collaboration to maintain a safe guest experience in a hospitality setting.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree with minimum 5 years of security and safety experience and/or military/law enforcement experience, including supervisory experience.
• Type and level of experience may vary slightly based on size and complexity of operation.
• Must speak local language(s).
• Other languages preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Direct day-to-day activities, plan and assign work, and establish performance and development goals for team members.
• Provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to help manage conflict, improve team member performance, and recognise good performance.
• Perform leadership training for all senior security personnel.
• Ensure security personnel and hotel staff adhere to procedures and policies.
• Maintain good communication and work relationships across hotel departments.
• Coordinate security department activities and advise other departments on security matters.
• Train and develop supervisors and associates within the department with the 'Room to Grow' promise.
• Plan, deliver and facilitate regular staff awareness training.

Your Day to Day for both hotels will include:-

• Direct day-to-day activities, plan and assign work, and establish performance and development goals for team members. Provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to help manage conflict, improve team member performance, and recognise good performance.
• Perform leadership training for all senior security personnel
• Ensure the all security personnel as well as hotel’s staff are adhering to P&P and security procedures
• Maintain good communication and work relationships in all areas of the hotel
• Direct and coordinate the activities of all security personnel, engage in the implementation of safety and security procedures for the department, and provide assistance and advice to other departments in relation to security
• Training and development of supervisors and associates within the department towards the promise of “Room to Grow”.
• Plan, deliver and facilitate regular staff awareness training

What we need from you:

• Bachelor’s degree with minimum 5years of security and safety experience and/or military/law enforcement experience, including supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Type and level of experience required may vary slightly based on size and complexity of operation.
• Must speak local language(s).
• Other languages preferred.
