Job summary

PT. Mastersystem Infotama is seeking an L1 Cloud Engineer to manage AWS resource provisioning, monitor platform performance, and support 24x7 on-site operations in Jakarta. You will respond to inquiries, create monthly reports, and collaborate with L2 engineers to drive daily cloud activities.

The role requires hands-on AWS administration, Linux scripting, and familiarity with containers (Kubernetes/Docker/OpenShift). Remote work is not offered; 1+ year experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Hands-on AWS cloud infrastructure administration.
• Networking concepts in AWS: VPCs, routing, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs.
• Experience managing Linux OS and scripting (Shell, Python).
• Familiarity with container platforms: Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker.
• IaC scripting with Terraform is a plus; Ansible is a plus.

Responsibilities

Job description

Responsible for cloud operational activities in managed-service team as L1 Cloud Engineer, such as the following :

• Joined in on-site shifting rotation (24x7) onsite at Jakarta


• Response to inquiries & service request for AWS resource provisioning


• Monitoring the platform & infrastructure according to availability & performance metrics


• Create monthly platform & infrastructure report


• Troubleshoot issues & respond to incidents


• Collaborate with Lead & L2 engineers to create, execute & improve daily operation activities

Minimum Qualifications

• Hands-on experience on AWS cloud infrastructure administration


• Knowledge of networking concepts, including VPCs, routing, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs in AWS or on-premises.


• Experienced in managing Linux operating system, and scripting (such as shell & python)


• Familiar with containerized application platform, such as Kubernetes, Openshift, or Docker


• Have the capability in creating and using Infrastructure-as-a-code (IaC) scripts with Terraform is a plus


• Knowledge of automation tools such as Ansible is a plus

Non-technical Requirement

• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.


• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.


• 1+ years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud engineering


• Have AWS Certification is a plus
