Job summary

Palladium is seeking an experienced Climate Change Adviser for its Indonesia facility. The role offers a remote or Jakarta-based arrangement under a consultant agreement, focusing on developing and implementing climate strategy within IA-CEPA programs.

You will deliver strategic inputs, conduct reviews, and provide on‑call advisory support across Katalis systems and partnerships. The ideal candidate holds a postgraduate qualification in climate change and has extensive experience advising

Qualifications

Postgraduate qualification or equivalent professional experience.
Substantial experience providing strategic climate change advice to development programs or international organizations.
Ability to translate climate policy and technical concepts into practical guidance for non-specialist teams.
Strong understanding of climate mitigation, adaptation and resilience in inclusive economic development.
Experience reviewing or developing climate strategies, tools or investment criteria.
Knowledge of Australia’s international development priorities and DFAT program requirements is desirable.
Excellent analytical and English written communication with concise advisory skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Review the draft Climate Change Strategy and provide inputs on technical quality, strategic focus and applicability.
Offer ongoing on-call advisory support to help implement and refine the strategy across Katalis systems, investments and partnerships.
