Job summary

Petrosea is seeking a Civil/Structure Design Engineer to oversee site civil and structural activities on our project in Timika, Indonesia. The role requires a minimum of five years of experience and strong proficiency in Civil/Structure engineering, with the ability to provide consultative guidance and contribute across disciplines.

Fluency in English is an advantage as the position involves interaction with international teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as Civil/Structural Design Engineer.
• Proficient in Civil/Structural engineering with cross-disciplinary contributions.
• Provides consultative advice within Civil/Structure area.
• Recognized expert with established industry contacts.
• Writes departmental procedures and presents findings to clients and management.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise site civil and structural activities to ensure safety and timeliness.
• Develop and follow JSA for all tasks.
• Assist in developing short-term detailed execution plans including cost estimates.
• Prepare and submit regular project reports in a timely manner.
• Maintain and implement SHE programs and SHE Management System per ISO standards.

Job description

Monitor and supervise site civil and structural activities to ensure such activities are conducted in a safe and timely manner conform against quality that optimises availability in order to support success of project implementation.

Job Responsibilities

Exercise, direct, and ensure a safe work environment in the work area at all times; and ensure all store business work processes and activities are all done in safe works practices. Work Environment Surveillance is successfully conducted and in line with Petrosea Risk Matrix.

Develop and follow JSA for all tasks. All tasks are developed and followed JSA.

Assist Superior with the development of a work schedule including daily cost related to materials and manpower to be incorporated in the short term detailed execution plans Assistance is successful.

Prepare and submit the regular report required by project to ensure report is submitted in timely manner. Regular report is submitted in a timely manner.

Maintain and actively implement SHE programs and responsibility (involve identify, mitigate and monitor SHE risk), including SHE Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard, requirements and procedure applied and to confirm the execution of the SHE Responsibility meet the intended outcome - SHE risk well maintained

• Being recognize as an expert within the function typically has some established contacts with other professionals within industry, technical associations, conferences or academia.
• Writes department procedures, presents findings and makes recommendations to clients and management.
• Fluent in English, bothspoken and written is an advantage

Certification

• If candidates do not meet the requirements specified in the Education section, evaluation shall be conducted in accordance with KKNI Level 6.
