Job summary

PetroSea in Kalimantan Tengah, Indonesia seeks a Civil/Structure Design Engineer to lead civil activities on site, plan tools, spares, and manpower, and ensure work complies with engineering standards and safety policies.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, have 1+ year of relevant experience, and be able to provide consultative advice within Civil/Structure fields; English proficiency is an advantage.

• 1+ years of experience as Civil/Structure Design Engineer.
• Proficient in Civil/Structure engineering; capable of cross-disciplinary contribution.
• Ability to provide consultative advice within Civil/Structure area.
• Fluent in English is an advantage for communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate civil daily activities to ensure civil work is performed in a technically correct and efficient manner, conforming with company standards and policies.
• Plan and supervise civil activities regarding tools, spare parts, consumables, and manpower planning for establishment, maintenance, and repair of the site.
• Maintain and repair civil systems at site/project.
• Check and examine all mechanical locations and equipment, economizing with standard test equipment and verifying their function.
• Conduct formal annual performance reviews for all direct reports, identifying strengths, weaknesses, training needs and future goals.
• Maintain and actively implement SHE programs and the SHE Management System to ensure effectiveness, meeting ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SMK3 & SMKP standards.

Job Responsibilities

Plan and supervise Civil activities regarding tools requirement, sparepart, and consumable goods and also manpower planning in establishment, maintenance, and repairement of Site. Civil activities are well-planned and well-supervised.

Responsible in maintain and repair Civil system in Site/Project. Civil systems in Site/Project are well maintained.

Check and examine all mechanical location and equipment and economizing by using test equipment standard and observe its function. All mechanical locations and equipments are successfully examined.

Conduct formal annual performance review all direct reports, identifying strengths and weaknesses, training needs and agreeing upon goals for the future. Formal annual performances are successfully conducted.

Maintain and actively implement SHE programs and responsibility (involve identify, mitigate and monitor SHE risk), including SHE Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard, requirements and procedure applied and to confirm the execution of the SHE Responsibility meet the intended outcome - SHE risk well maintained

Education

Skill, Knowledge, and Experience

• Min 1or more years of experiences as Civil / Structure Design Engineer.
• Proficient in Civil / Structure engineering yet can also contribute in other areas of disciplines.
• Provide consultative advice within Civil / Structure area.
• Being recognize as an expert within the function typically has some established contacts with other professionals within industry, technical associations, conferences or academia.
• Writes department procedures, presents findings and makes recommendations to clients and management.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written is an advantage

Certification

• If candidates do not meet the requirements specified in the Education section, evaluation shall be conducted in accordance with KKNI Level 4.
