Jakarta Nanyang School is currently seeking passionate, highly qualified, and responsible Chinese Language Teachers to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for teaching primary or secondary school students, fostering language skills, and enhancing cultural literacy.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and deliver structured, interactive, and engaging Chinese language lessons for primary or secondary school students.
• Develop teaching plans, prepare lessons, and manage classrooms effectively.
• Assess students’ learning and support their participation in school activities, external examinations, and competitions.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and conducive classroom learning environment.
• Maintain effective communication with parents and school staff.
• Participate in departmental meetings and collaborative teaching activities.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s (S1) or Master’s (S2) degree in Chinese Education, Chinese Language, or Teaching Chinese as a Second Language from a reputable university (overseas graduates are welcome to apply).
• Relevant teaching qualifications, with strong skills in classroom management, lesson planning, subject knowledge, and the integration of learning technologies.
• A minimum of 5 years’ teaching experience in an International or SPK school.
• Familiarity with the Singapore Chinese Primary Curriculum, Cambridge IGCSE/A Level Chinese, or HSK Standard Course.
• Passionate about education, demonstrating patience, enthusiasm, and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Standard Mandarin pronunciation and excellent Chinese language proficiency.
• Ability to use English for daily communication and collaboration.
