Job summary

PT Eastroc Vitamin Energy Indonesia is seeking a Chiller Specialist to operate and maintain industrial chiller systems within our production facility. The role focuses on optimizing chiller performance, energy efficiency, and reducing downtime through preventive maintenance and timely repairs.

Key responsibilities include monitoring chillers, coordinating with production to minimize disruption, maintaining logs, and ensuring HSE compliance.

Qualifications

• Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, RAC, or Electrical Engineering.
• Up to 3 years of hands-on experience as a Chiller/HVAC/Refrigeration Technician or Specialist.
• Strong knowledge of chiller systems and cooling components.
• Experience reading P&ID drawings and using diagnostic tools.
• Willing to work in shifts and be on-call for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain industrial chiller units and related systems.
• Perform planned preventive maintenance and inspections for efficiency.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in chiller, electrical, and refrigerant systems.
• Monitor refrigerant levels, pressures, temperatures; handle charging and leak checks.
• Coordinate with production to minimize downtime during maintenance.
• Maintain maintenance logs, service reports, and equipment history.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations when handling refrigerants and equipment.
• Provide training and guidance to junior technicians.
• Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with vendors for major repairs.
