Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of professional experience in senior leadership roles (CEO/COO/Director) within property development, real estate, construction-related services, estate management, or related industries.
• Proven experience in business strategy, P&L management, commercial growth, and operational leadership.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Willing and committed to be based in Sidoarjo, East Java.

Lead, Grow & Transform a Regional Business Portfolio

Bakrieland Group is looking for an experienced and highly driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and accelerate the growth of our business operations in Sidoarjo and the surrounding regional areas, including Yogyakarta.

This is a strategic leadership opportunity for a senior business executive who will become a trusted business partner and representative of the Group’s leadership, with significant responsibility for driving business performance, strengthening operations, developing new opportunities, and building a high-performing organization in the region.

The Opportunity

As COO, you will take a leadership role in overseeing a diversified property and real estate business portfolio, covering:

• Residential / Property Development
• Property Agency
• New Product and Business Development

You will be expected not only to ensure operational excellence, but also to identify growth opportunities, optimize existing assets, strengthen commercial performance, and translate the Group’s strategic direction into tangible business results.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall business strategy, operations, and performance of the regional business portfolio.
• Translate Group strategy into clear business plans, priorities, targets, and execution roadmaps.
• Drive revenue growth, profitability, operational efficiency, and sustainable business value.
• Oversee and integrate multiple business lines across property development, agency, design/project services, and estate management.
• Develop strategies to maximize the potential of existing assets and landbank for future development.
• Identify new business opportunities, market potential, strategic partnerships, and innovative business models.
• Take ownership of key business decisions and ensure strong execution across the organization.
• Establish effective performance management, governance, risk management, and operational accountability.
• Build, lead, and develop a strong management team and organizational capability.
• Manage relationships with strategic stakeholders, business partners, government authorities, communities, and other relevant parties.
• Provide the Group’s senior management with business insights, performance updates, opportunities, risks, and strategic recommendations.
• Act as a trusted extension of the Group’s leadership in managing and developing the regional business.

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of professional experience, with substantial experience in senior leadership, General Management, Director, COO, or equivalent positions in property development, real estate, construction-related services, estate management, or other relevant industries.
• Proven experience in business strategy, P&L management, commercial growth, and operational leadership.
• Strong understanding of property development and real estate market dynamics.
• Demonstrated experience in developing new businesses, markets, products, or strategic initiatives.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong orientation toward business growth and results.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing and committed to be based in Sidoarjo, East Java.
