TechConnect GmbH is seeking a senior Information Security leader to design and oversee a comprehensive security program. You will collaborate with business units to embed security across operations, while staying current on evolving threats and technologies.

The role requires strategic thinking, leadership, and hands-on expertise in risk management and incident response. Ideal candidate brings a CISSP or equivalent, 10+ years in information security, and deep knowledge of security controls,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information security, computer science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in information security.
• CISSP or other relevant security certification.
• In-depth knowledge of security principles, practices, technologies, and frameworks.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, operating systems, and infrastructure components.
• Experience with SIEM platforms, threat intelligence tools, incident response tools, and vulnerability management solutions; familiarity with ISO-27001, PCI DSS.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically and handle complex security incidents; proactive and self-motivated, and the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
