About the role
We are looking for a Channel Development Manager to lead the expansion of our distribution and service network across Indonesia. This role will develop new branches, warehouses, service stations, distributors, and strategic partnerships to strengthen our market presence in the construction equipment industry.
Identify, assess, and develop opportunities for new branches, warehouses, service stations, distributors, and channel partners.
Conduct market, location, and feasibility analysis to support network expansion decisions.
Develop and execute channel expansion strategies aligned with business targets and market demand.
Manage end-to-end development projects, including site selection, partner engagement, project coordination, commissioning, and handover.
Build and maintain strategic relationships with distributors, dealers, resellers, landlords, contractors, and other relevant stakeholders.
Negotiate channel agreements, commercial terms, and contracts while ensuring compliance and mutual value.
Monitor channel performance, expansion progress, and market developments; prepare reports and recommendations for management.
Work closely with Sales, After-sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to ensure each new channel is operationally ready and commercially effective.
Provide product, sales, and operational support to channel partners as needed.
Represent the company at industry events, partner meetings, and relevant business forums.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Management, Commerce, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in channel development, business development, sales management, network expansion, or project development.
Experience in construction equipment, heavy equipment, industrial machinery, automotive, or a related industry is strongly preferred.
Proven experience developing distribution networks, branches, service facilities, warehouses, or strategic partnerships.
Strong capability in market analysis, location assessment, project coordination, commercial negotiation, and contract management.
Sound understanding of Indonesia’s construction equipment market, customer landscape, and channel dynamics.
Strong communication, stakeholder-management, and negotiation skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
Able to work independently, manage multiple projects, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Willing to travel across Indonesia as required.
