Job summary

PT BBN Airlines Indonesia is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to perform pre-departure, transit, daily/service checks and unscheduled maintenance in accordance with approved procedures to ensure airworthiness and reliable operation of our fleet.

Minimum 5 years as Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, hold a valid B2 AMEL with A320 rating (A320 and B737-800 ratings advantageous), fluent English, proficient with Word/Excel, and flexible to work shifts and international wet lease projects;

Qualifications

• Graduates of Aviation Technical School, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Min. 5 years as Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.
• Hold a valid B2 AMEL with A320 type rating; A320 & B737-800 ratings are an advantage.
• Fluent in English.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Understanding of engineering drawings, technical documentation, and schematics.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Self-motivated, high initiative, and able to work under pressure.
• Able to work in shifts and flexible schedule.
• Able to work out of country for wet lease projects.
• In-depth knowledge of aviation safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform Pre-departure, Transit, Daily / Service Check, and unscheduled maintenance according to approved procedures.
• Responsible for maintaining aircraft, ground equipment, and facilities as needed to meet airworthiness standards, operating schedules, and performance standards.
• Ensure that the aircraft is dispatched for operations in an airworthy condition, properly equipped, and configured for operation maintained in accordance with aviation regulation and company procedure.
• Accompany the aircraft as engineer on-board to support aircraft flying program domestically and internationally
• Participate in providing as needed on-call support for AOG events or other situation requiring time-critical technical support.
• Update periodically about maintenance status of aircraft during maintenance, defect rectification, or AOG
• Coordination within MCC Group for any findings, rectification plan, spare required, etc.
• Assigned as Technical Representative for monitoring Maintenance Performed by MRO.
• Performing comprehensive wiring check as required for troubleshooting purpose.
• Any other task assigned by Maintenance Manager

Job description
