Job summary

Ernst & Young is seeking an AP Associate to join the Finance team in Jakarta. You will support accounts payable processes, financial reporting, and data analysis within the CBS framework.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, strong Excel skills and fluency in English. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and improve process efficiencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from reputable university with GPA ≥ 3.20/4.00.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills with finance-related formulas.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly statements by collecting data, analyzing variances and trends.
• Prepare quarterly and annual statements by assembling data.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with quarterly payments.
• Respond to financial inquiries by analyzing and interpreting data.
• Provide financial advice by studying operational issues and developing recommendations.
• Prepare special reports and support budgets and forecasts.
• Keep current with financial regulations and participate in professional development.

Join our Finance team and you will help enable EY client account teams and management to run the business effectively,by participating in one of our services (i.e. Billing, Payroll, Account Payable, etc). You’ll help to improve engagement profitability, manage enterprise wide risk and support market development activities. You will support EY planning, reporting and forecasting and analysis, or help EY people manage day-to-day activities, such as managing engagements, process and auditing time and expense or invoice processing. You’ll also work with other parts of our organisation, sharing your financial experience and insights to achieve specific goals. • Complies with state and federal tax filing requirements by studying regulations; adhering to requirements; advising management on required actions; calculating quarterly estimated tax payments; assembling data for quarterly and annual tax filings.

Requirement:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting major with minimum GPA 3.20 out of 4.00 from reputable universties (local and overseas)
• Have extensive knowledge in Microsoft Excel (able to use formula related to finance)
• Have a good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate both written / oral in English
• Have a strong understanding of accounting and finance as well as taxation is required
