Perform as a maintenance technician in the diagnosing, maintenance, repair, installation of manufacturing equipment.* Responds to escalated problems and perform equipment repairs as required.* Has lead responsibilities in special events, such as major turnarounds at plants and may lead a group of in-house maintenance technicians and/or outside contractors during this time. In larger facilities, may have on-going lead responsibilities.* Works closely with Maintenance Supervisor/ Manager or Maintenance Planners to identify trends and contributes to the development of inspection and maintenance schedules.* Uses the computer to maintain records pertaining to maintenance activity and spare parts inventory.* May participate in spare parts management.* Participates in scheduled safety meetings and completes safety training requirements.
