Job summary

The Luxury Collection, Jimbaran, Bali, seeks a dedicated Butler/Guest Relations professional to provide personalized service and anticipate guest needs, coordinating VIP arrivals and ensuring seamless collaboration with the front desk.

You will have 1-2 years of luxury hospitality experience, a hospitality degree, and proficiency with Opera PMS, delivering exceptional guest experiences at our 64-key resort opening in 2027.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Hotel Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Butler, Guest Relations Officer, Front Office Agent, or similar in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Previous experience in an international 5-star luxury brand is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of luxury guest service standards and personalized guest experiences.

Responsibilities

Hotel Description

A Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Jimbaran, Bali offers 64 keys including 39 guestrooms and 25 villas. Located on a scenic 2-hectare site in Bali’s historic fishing village of Jimbaran, the resort enjoys elevated views of both sunrise and sunset, and is just 20 minutes from Ngurah Rai International Airport. Guests will experience a refined selection of amenities including an all-day dining restaurant, specialty dining, bars, resort pools, a fitness center, and a Luxury Collection Spa. The resort is estimated to open in Q1 2027.

Position Summary

Provide personalized service and attention to fulfilling all guest needs including but not limited to: delivering coffee and tea upon request, preparing notes of new arrivals to prepare and communicate the important preferences to the entire hotel operation, coordinating with the front desk to prepare the VIP rooms, checking the room key and briefly double checking if every detail is up to the guest expectation and request, coordinate with front desk to escort early arrivals, be present upon the guests check in to anticipate the guests needs, complete the butler flags which were put into local systems by the reservation, sales and other departments, and send pre-arrival emails. Coordinate with the front desk to escort the VIP to their rooms, work closely with the Guest Services and Engineering departments on requests, pick up laundry request from guests, follow up on laundry delivery and return laundry to the guest promptly. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager. Follow all company policies and procedures, ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language, prepare and review written documents accurately and completely, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, and support team to reach common goals. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance; and stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Hotel Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Butler, Guest Relations Officer, Front Office Agent, or similar position in a luxury hotel or resort environment.
• Previous experience in an international 5-star luxury brand is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of luxury guest service standards and personalized guest experiences.

Technical Competencies

• Excellent knowledge of Front Office operations and guest service procedures.
• Ability to coordinate guest requests efficiently with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Engineering, and other departments.
• Familiarity with Opera PMS or other hotel property management systems.
• Knowledge of VIP arrival preparations, room inspections, amenities setup, and special occasion arrangements.
• Strong administrative skills, including guest preference management and report preparation.
