Seven Retail seeks a Business Strategy Associate to join our Strategy team in Jakarta. You'll work with senior leaders on high-impact projects spanning Growth Strategy and Corporate Strategy across our multi-brand ecosystem.

Experience in management consulting or related strategic roles, plus strong problem-solving and analytical skills, are essential. You will translate insights into actionable initiatives with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of professional experience in management consulting, corporate strategy or related roles.
• Bachelor's degree from a top university; preferred disciplines include Business/Economics/Engineering/Finance/Math/Stats.
• Strong structured problem-solving and hypothesis-driven thinking.
• Strong analytical skills with data-driven insights and recommendations.
• Ability to work on ambiguous and complex business problems with senior stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment; strong ownership.
• Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides.

As a Business Strategy Associate, you'll work closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams on high-impact strategic projects across Seven Retail's multi-brand ecosystem. Depending on your experience, strengths, and business needs, you may contribute to Growth Strategy, focusing on growth opportunities, market expansion, and business performance, or Corporate Strategy, focusing on strategic planning, business evaluation, financial analysis, and company-wide strategic priorities.

Your Day-to-Day

Depending on the business priorities, you may:

• Support strategic projects related to growth, market expansion, and corporate strategy
• Conduct market, customer, competitor, and business performance analysis to identify growth opportunities
• Develop structured, data-driven insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
• Build business cases, financial analyses, and scenario assessments to evaluate strategic opportunities
• Support strategic planning and evaluation of new business opportunities
• Work with cross-functional stakeholders to translate strategic recommendations into actionable initiatives
• Track business performance and key initiatives, identifying opportunities and potential areas for improvement
• Support the evaluation of partnerships, expansion opportunities, and other strategic initiatives
• Prepare presentations, business cases, and executive materials for senior leadership discussions
• Take ownership of assigned workstreams and deliver high-quality outputs from problem definition through execution

Who We're Looking For

• 1–3 years of professional experience in Management Consulting, Corporate Strategy, Growth Strategy, Business Strategy, or related strategic roles
• Experience from leading management consulting firms is highly preferred
• Bachelor's degree from a top university; Business, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or related disciplines are preferred
• Strong structured problem-solving and hypothesis-driven thinking
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear business insights and recommendations
• Demonstrated ability to work on ambiguous and complex business problems
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
