Job summary

Mirae Asset Sekuritas Indonesia is seeking a qualified candidate for a risk management-focused role, emphasizing independent risk assessments across capital market activities such as equity, fixed income, ETF, mutual funds, and investment banking-related ventures.

The role requires handling risk opportunities, stress tests, and the development of risk limits while collaborating with cross-functional teams for sound decision-making and strategy execution.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree with focus on Capital Markets, Actuarial, Finance, Financial Engineering, or related studies.
• Have working experience in Business/Enterprise Risk Management, Research, Investment Bank, or Treasury Risk Management (experience in handling Risk Management System/Model preferable).
• Able to do company valuation, financial modeling, and stress testing.
• Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
• Able to work both independently and with team members.
• Good presentation skills and able to communicate effectively across a broad range of constituents.
• Have WPPE License & Programming experience will be additional advantages.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent risk assessments and provide recommendations on business initiatives, transactions, and strategic proposals involving the Company's capital, including but not limited to equity, fixed income, ETF, mutual fund, and investment banking-related activities.
• Evaluate new business opportunities, products, and transaction structures by assessing associated risks, potential exposures, and alignment with the Company's risk appetite.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor company-wide risk limits and exposure frameworks, including periodic limit recalibration, daily utilization monitoring, breach assessments, and recommendations for additional risk capacity.
• Perform stress testing, scenario analysis, and sensitivity assessments to evaluate the resilience of the Company's capital and risk profile under adverse market conditions and emerging developments.
• Lead and coordinate the annual Risk Register assessment, including the identification, assessment, consolidation, and reporting of key risks across business and support functions.
• Prepare risk assessment reports, management recommendations, and actively participate in risk management forums and stakeholder discussions to support informed decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure effective risk management practices are embedded within business processes and strategic initiatives.
