About the Program

BRI is opening opportunities for technology talents through the BRILiaN Banking Associate Program (BBAP) - IT External Hire.

This program is designed to identify and develop talents with strong potential and relevant capabilities in technology and digital disciplines.

We welcome fresh graduates, early-career talents, and experienced professionals with relevant technology backgrounds.

Applicants will be assessed and may be considered for the technology role that best matches their competencies, experience, assessment results, and BRI's organizational needs.

Technology Career Tracks

For talents interested in designing and developing web and mobile applications.

Relevant capabilities may include programming languages and frameworks such as Golang, React.js, Kotlin, Swift, SQL, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), CI/CD, containerization, and secure coding.

2. IT Quality Assurance

For talents interested in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of technology solutions.

Relevant capabilities may include Software Testing Life Cycle, manual and automation testing, API testing, SQL, CI/CD testing, and tools such as Katalon, JMeter, Postman, or similar technologies.

3. IT Security

For talents interested in protecting technology infrastructure, applications, and information assets.

Relevant capabilities may include cybersecurity, network security, cloud security, application security, secure coding, vulnerability management, data security, and information protection.

4. IT Operation & Infrastructure

For talents interested in managing and operating reliable technology infrastructure.

Relevant capabilities may include networking, routing and switching, data center infrastructure, servers, storage, operating systems, monitoring tools, virtualization, cloud computing, and network security.

5. IT Data Management & Analytics

For talents interested in managing, processing, governing, and analyzing data.

Relevant capabilities may include Data Management, Data Governance, Python, SQL, RDBMS/NoSQL, data integration, data pipelines, Kafka or similar technologies, Business Intelligence, and data visualization.

6. End-to-End Product Management

For talents interested in developing digital products from discovery to delivery and continuous improvement.

Relevant capabilities may include product discovery, product delivery, product analytics, customer research, Agile/Scrum, user stories, UX/UI, digital marketing, governance, risk management, and regulatory awareness.

General Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (S1) from an accredited university.
• Open to all academic backgrounds.
• Minimum cumulative GPA above 2.75 on a 4.00 scale.
• Fresh graduates and candidates with relevant professional experience are welcome to apply.
• Demonstrate fundamental technical capabilities relevant to at least one of the technology career tracks above.
• Have relevant exposure through professional experience, internship, university or personal projects, bootcamp, certification, competition, community activities, or other technology-related experiences.
• Relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
• Strong learning agility, analytical thinking, collaboration, communication, and growth mindset.
• Interested in building a career in technology and digital banking.

You do not need to master every technology listed above.
