Job summary

Multi Bintang Indonesia, part of the Heineken family, is hiring a Brewing Technician based in Tangerang. You will support wort production, cellar & fermentation, and filtration to meet production targets with high quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related science or engineering field.
• Preferably 1 year of relevant work experience; fresh graduates welcome.
• Proficiency in English.
• Willing to work in shifts.
• Based in Tangerang Brewery.

Job Purpose

At Multi Bintang Indonesia, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact—supporting people, the planet, and fostering togetherness.

As a Brewing Technician, you'll specialize in three key areas within our brewhouse operations —whether it’s Wort Production, Cellar & Fermentation or Beer Filtration. Your expertise will help us achieve our production targets efficiently and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure Safety & Health: Implement and adhere to safety and health protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Drive Production Output: Achieve production goals in terms of quantity and quality.
• Maintain Equipment: Ensure high reliability and availability of production machinery and supporting equipment.
• Control Processes: Implement process control standards to optimize production efficiency.
• Manage Materials: Ensure the availability of production materials.
• Achieve Shop Floor Excellence: Maintain excellence in all shop floor activities.
• Promote Cleanliness: Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards within the working environment.

Candidate Criteria

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Biology, Chemical Engineering or related fields.
• Experience: Preferably 1 year of relevant work experience, fresh graduates are welcome
• Language Skills: Proficiency in English.
• Flexibility: Willing to work in shifts.
• Location: Willing to be based in Tangerang Brewery.
