Job summary

Sf Indonesia in Kosambi, Tangerang Regency is seeking a billing operations specialist. You will manage daily invoicing for EXIM and domestic shipments, issue invoices and credit notes, and verify supporting documents before final billing.

You will monitor AR aging, collaborate with finance and collections, and streamline processes to shorten invoicing lead times and reduce errors. Strong Excel and ERP/TMS skills are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Logistics or related field.
• 2+ years in billing, invoicing or finance operations in logistics, with 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Understanding of freight forwarding billing for air, sea, domestic trucking, and customs clearance services.
• Familiarity with export-import documentation, Incoterms and freight charges.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas) and ERP/TMS/Billing software.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily billing operations and invoicing for EXIM and domestic shipments.

• Coordinate with customer service, sales, operations, and external clients to clarify items, rate discrepancies, and additional charges.
• Prepare routine billing performance reports, reconciliation summaries and KPIs for management.

Job description

• Handle daily billing operations & invoicing for both export-import (EXIM) and domestic freight forwarding shipments.
• Ensure accurate and timely issuance of customer invoices, debit/credit notes, and supporting billing documentation in accordance with client agreements and rate cards.
• Oversee the verification of operational cost sheets, vendor invoices, and Proof of Delivery (POD) documents prior to final billing generation.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging related to billing discrepancies and collaborate with the finance and collections teams to resolve disputes.
• Streamline billing workflows, identify operational bottlenecks, and implement standard operating procedures to reduce invoicing lead time and billing errors.
• Coordinate closely with customer service, sales, operations, and external clients to clarify billing items, rate discrepancies, and additional charges (e.g., storage, detention, demurrage).
• Prepare routine billing performance reports, reconciliation summaries, and operational KPIs for management review.

Job Requirements:

• High School, Associate Degree, or Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in billing, invoicing, or finance operations within the freight forwarding or logistics industry, with at least one to two years in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
• Comprehensive understanding of freight forwarding billing processes for air, sea, domestic trucking, and customs clearance services.
• Strong familiarity with export-import documentation, shipping terms (Incoterms), and additional freight charge structures.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas) and experience using freight forwarding ERP/TMS/Billing software.
• Analytical problem-solving and cross-departmental communication skills.
• Willing to be placed in Kosambi, Tangerang Regency (WFO).
