Responsibilities

Job description

As a Bill of Material Officer, you will be responsible for managing product structure and Bill of Material (BOM) data to support accurate and efficient manufacturing operations. You will work closely with internal and external teams to manage BOM creation and revisions, engineering changes, part status, and product data within the QAD ERP system. Your role will be essential in ensuring that product information and engineering changes are accurately maintained and implemented according to the required timeline.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end Bill of Material (BOM) creation and revision for new product releases and existing products, ensuring completion according to schedule

Create new BOMs based on product specifications and requirements

Process BOM revisions based on ECR/DCR requests and ensure changes are implemented accurately and on time

Monitor and maintain the master list of parts and item statuses, including active and superseded parts

Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to support product requirements and quality standards

Identify BOM and product data discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions with relevant stakeholders

Support continuous improvement initiatives related to BOM management, product data accuracy, and engineering change processes

Requirements

Minimum S1/D4 qualification in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in BOM Management, Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Change Management, or a related position

Fresh graduates with internship experience in manufacturing, engineering, or production are welcome to apply

Have a basic understanding of manufacturing processes and Bill of Material (BOM)

Familiarity with ERP systems, QAD, or production-related data is a plus

Comfortable working with Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Detail-oriented with strong accuracy in managing product data and documentation

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies and follow up on issues

Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Able to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Eager to learn, proactive, and willing to develop in a manufacturing environment
