Job summary

Talent Trader Group Pte Ltd is seeking a Shipbuilding Project Manager (Shipyard / Marine) to lead major site operations in Batam. You will act as Chief in Command, directing resources, coordinating teams, and ensuring compliance with project plans.

The role requires a degree or diploma in naval architecture or marine engineering, at least five years of shipyard PM experience, and proficiency in MS Office. You will be based full-time in Batam and act as the primary client liaison for project

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Shipyard Project Manager with direct exposure to marine newbuilding projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willing and able to be based full-time in Batam, Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Act as Chief in Command for major site operations, serving as the primary decision-maker for all onsite activities, resources, and personnel.
• Monitor project milestones and progress against master schedules to ensure strict compliance with contractual delivery dates.
• Direct daily onsite operations, logistics, and supervision of suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Manage contract administration, commercial deliverables, scope tracking, and contractual compliance.
• Serve as the primary focal point and client liaison for all project status updates, operational queries, and customer requirements.
• Provide technical leadership to the project team to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve engineering and construction challenges.
