Job summary

THE SHISHA HOUSE SEMINYAK in Seminyak, Bali, invites an experienced Bartender to join a vibrant hospitality team on a contract basis. You will craft beverages, deliver exceptional guest service and maintain a high standard of bar presentation.

Applicants should have proven bartending experience, expert knowledge of cocktails and a strong ability to handle POS transactions while working efficiently during busy periods. Evening and weekend shifts required.

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join the team at THE SHISHA HOUSE SEMINYAK in Seminyak, Bali. This is a contract position offering an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality environment. As a Bartender, you will be at the heart of our guest experience, crafting exceptional beverages and delivering outstanding customer service in one of Bali's premier destinations.

Key responsibilities

• Preparing, mixing and serving a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests
• Taking drink orders from guests and bar staff, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
• Maintaining exceptional cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including equipment and glassware
• Operating the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently
• Following recipes and presentation standards to ensure consistency across all drinks
• Engaging with guests in a friendly, professional manner to create a welcoming atmosphere
• Monitoring stock levels and reporting when supplies need to be replenished
• Complying with all health, safety and licensing regulations at all times
• Contributing to a positive team environment and supporting colleagues during busy service periods
• Suggesting menu items and special promotions to enhance the guest experience

About you

• Proven experience working as a Bartender in a hospitality setting, preferably in a busy bar or lounge environment
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines and other beverages, including classic and contemporary recipes
• Excellent customer service skills with a genuine passion for hospitality
• Proficiency in operating POS systems and handling cash transactions accurately
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak service times
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Good personal grooming and professional appearance
• Flexibility to work evening and weekend shifts as required
• Certification in responsible beverage service or bartending qualifications (preferred)
• Experience in high-volume establishments or resort settings would be advantageous
