Job summary

HIJs Coffee in Bandung is seeking a personable barista to prepare and serve espresso, manual brew, specialty iced coffees, mocktails and non-coffee beverages according to HIJs Coffee recipes. You will greet guests and assist with menu recommendations while handling cashier transactions with accuracy.

Job description

This is a barista position at HIJs Coffee located in Setrasari Mall, Bandung. You will be responsible for preparing and serving espresso, manual coffee, specialty iced coffee (such as Es Kopi Susu), mocktails, and non-coffee beverages according to HIJs Coffee standard recipes.

Key responsibilities

Prepare and serve espresso, manual brew coffee, specialty iced coffee, mocktails, and non-coffee beverages according to standard recipes

Greet visitors in a friendly manner, provide menu recommendations, and process cashier transactions efficiently

Ensure consistent taste, measurements, and temperature of beverages, and perform daily espresso machine calibration

Manage bar cleanliness, coffee equipment, and seating areas according to hygiene standards

Monitor availability of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other beverage ingredients and record restocking needs

About you

Minimum 6–12 months experience as a barista with understanding of commercial espresso machines and manual brew methods

Friendly with good communication skills and customer service-oriented

Disciplined, honest, and responsive in working both as part of a team and independently

Experienced or willing to learn in preparing non-coffee menu items and mocktails
