Job summary

Qoala is hiring a Software Engineer to join our Engineering team in Indonesia. You will work on the server-side of our web applications, developing, testing, and maintaining backend services and APIs to meet our business needs.

You will collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions, write clean code following best practices, and participate in SDLC activities from design to deployment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in backend software development.
• Proficiency in Golang; experience with Node.js is a plus.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile development practices.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Familiar with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs.
• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) — design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Collaborate closely with Product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that follows best practices.
• Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
• Participate in code reviews and share knowledge with your teammates.
