Job summary

NawaData in Yogyakarta is seeking a Backend Developer to design, code, test, and manage applications in a banking project. You will collaborate with engineering and product teams to establish the best products and follow quality standards related to code and systems.

The role requires at least 2 years of .NET backend experience, strong SQL knowledge, API development skills, and the ability to deploy to on-premise or cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Backend Developer using .Net.
• Strong understanding of database programming and SQL, including query optimization and security best practices.
• Experience building and maintaining APIs (business logic, data access layer, authentication & authorization).
• Strong knowledge of web application architecture (client-server, synchronous/asynchronous communication).
• Understanding of monolithic and microservices architecture, including deployment and communication flow.
• Experience in deploying applications to on-premise or cloud servers.
• Proficient in .NET (mandatory) and familiar with backend development concepts.
• Experience with at least one database: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MariaDB.
