Job summary

Kamoro Maxima Integra, based in Jakarta, Indonesia, seeks an experienced backend engineer to develop and maintain scalable services, databases, and business logic ensuring reliable performance.

You will design, build, and optimize APIs for seamless data exchange with frontend apps, other backends, and payment gateways, while prioritizing security and code quality.

Willing to work from office in an insurance company; a bachelor’s in CS or related field with at least 3 years in Node.js is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS/Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with Node.js.
• Experience designing, implementing, and integrating APIs.
• Strong understanding of development frameworks and best practices.
• Experience with web/backend performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services, databases, and business logic.
• Design, build, and optimize APIs for data exchange with frontend and third parties.
• Test, debug, and resolve issues to ensure security, stability, and performance.
• Monitor and optimize backend processes and database queries.
• Collaborate in a team in Jakarta and aligned with insurance company environment.
