Job summary

INDICO, a Telkomsel Group digital company, is seeking a Backend Developer to build, enhance, and maintain backend applications and integrations for telecom and digital services. You will work with internal teams and Telkomsel to ensure robust APIs, messaging, and system integration, while performing QA/UAT and troubleshooting as needed.

The role requires 1–3 years in backend development, proficiency in Java, Python, Go, PHP or Node.js, and experience with REST APIs and databases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience as a Backend Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong experience in backend development and API development (ISO 8583 and JSON).
• Proficiency in at least one backend programming language, such as Java, PHP, Python, Go, or Node.js.
• Experience with REST API, web services, messaging, and system integration.
• Good understanding of databases, including SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Git/version control, debugging, testing, and API documentation.
• Experience supporting QA/UAT and troubleshooting of backend services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in telecommunications, digital services, fintech, or technology companies is a plus.
