Job summary

ByThen is seeking a Head of Finance & Operations to lead finance, accounting, tax, treasury, HR, and general administration across the Group. You will drive financial reporting, budgeting, cash management, and investor support while ensuring robust internal controls and scalable processes.

The role requires 5–7 years of relevant experience, strong leadership, and a track record in startups or tech environments, with the ability to collaborate with senior management and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience, including leading a team or function.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, accounting, taxation, and cash-flow management.
• Skilled in internal controls, process improvement, and stakeholder management.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Experience managing multiple functions and/or entities.
• Able to work closely with senior management and external stakeholders.
• Experience in a technology/startup environment and exposure to HR/legal matters are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee tax, statutory, corporate, HR, and legal matters, with support from internal teams and external advisors as needed.

• Develop and improve internal controls, SOPs, processes, and cost-efficiency initiatives.

Lead the company’s Finance and Operations functions, covering finance, accounting, tax, treasury, legal, HR, and general administration. Responsible for financial reporting, compliance, cash management, business support, and overseeing HR and legal operations to ensure effective day-to-day operations across the Group.
