Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in mechanical design, specifically within the automotive sector.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., CATIA, Siemens NX) and CAE tools for analysis.
• Strong understanding of automotive systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with automotive standards and safety regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automotive components such as chassis parts, suspension systems, or powertrain elements using advanced CAD tools.
• Perform detailed Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and other simulations to validate designs under various operating conditions.
• Create precise engineering drawings, specifications, and BOM for manufacturing.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal manufacturing teams to ensure DFM and DFA.
• Conduct rigorous testing and validation of prototypes, analyzing results and implementing design improvements.
• Stay abreast of the latest automotive industry trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements.
