Job summary

PT Freeport Indonesia Inc. is seeking a Foreman-level professional to coordinate, supervise, and optimize automation and instrumentation activities. You will lead preventive maintenance, installation, commissioning, testing, and calibration of PLC, SCADA, and related systems to ensure safe, reliable operation.

Qualifications

• S1 in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or related discipline.
• 5–7 years of experience in automation, instrumentation, process control, or industrial maintenance environments.
• 2–3 years of supervisory experience leading maintenance or technical personnel.
• Experience with PLC, SCADA, DCS, industrial networks, and instrumentation systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise preventive maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and improvement activities related to automation and instrumentation systems.
• Coordinate installation, commissioning, testing, calibration, and maintenance of instrumentation and automation equipment.
• Monitor performance and initiate corrective actions to minimize downtime and production interruptions.
• Lead training and coaching for technicians to enhance safety and performance.
• Plan and control spare parts to support maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
