Impact Investment Exchange (IIX) is seeking an Associate Vice President or Vice President to lead the Indonesia program and collaborate with the Indonesia Program Director. The role blends research, sustainability, ESG, SME development, and regulatory analysis with strong program management and business development skills.

You will drive research, content development, donor engagement, and partnerships while ensuring successful program execution and impact delivery.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred in sustainability, ESG, economics, or related field.
• 8–12 years of program management, sustainability, ESG, research, and business development experience.
• Proven fundraising, partnership-building, and donor engagement experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English; Bahasa Indonesia proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of the IIRI program and related initiatives for women-led and impact enterprises.
• Coordinate program activities, including landscape studies, pipeline development, enterprise support, stakeholder meetings, and logistics.
• Develop localized training programs leveraging existing IIX training modules and materials.
• Track program progress, collect data for impact measurement using IIX Values™, and prepare internal and donor reports.
• Ensure deliverables are completed on time and aligned with organizational and donor requirements.
• Engage with program partners such as donors, investors, government agencies, financial institutions, and local ecosystem players.
• Expand IIX's network in Indonesia and identify potential business opportunities.
• Identify impact enterprises and help them build investment readiness.
• Provide operational and administrative support for program implementation and country activities.
• Assist in budgeting, expense tracking, and coordination with finance and admin teams.

About this Role

IIX is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Vice President or Vice President to collaborate closely with the Indonesia Program Director on the organization's flagship program in Indonesia, known as Impact Investment Readiness for Indonesia (IIRI). The successful candidate will combine expertise in research, sustainability, ESG, SME development, and regulatory analysis with strong program management and business development capabilities. The Associate Vice President/Vice President will be responsible for driving research and content development, managing program execution, building strategic partnerships, supporting fundraising initiatives, and expanding IIX's impact and market presence in Indonesia. This role requires strategic thinking, disciplined execution, and a strong passion for inclusive finance and sustainability. The position offers hands-on exposure to impact investing and sustainable finance while contributing to global change in gender equality and climate action. Candidates in this role will work closely with the Indonesia team and regional colleagues to ensure smooth delivery of program objectives, while also providing support for other initiatives and programs within IIX across countries, performing work for IIX's affiliates and IIX Foundations as needed, and engaging in ad hoc projects as required.

• Help prepare concept notes, presentations, proposals, and supporting materials for advisory, investment, or funding opportunities
• Support expansion of IIX's network in Indonesia and actively identify potential business opportunities
• Support efforts to identify impact enterprises and help them build investment readiness
• Provide operational and administrative support for program implementation and country activities
• Assist in managing documentation, budgeting, expense tracking, and coordination with finance and administrative teams
• Support event planning, logistics, and communications related to program activities or stakeholder engagements

Requirements

• Master’s degree (preferred) in Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Economics, Business, Public Policy, or related field
• 8-12 years of relevant experience in program management, sustainability, ESG, research, and business development
• Proven expertise in regulatory compliance, ESG frameworks, and sustainability practices in Indonesia
• Demonstrated experience in fundraising, partnership building, and donor engagement
• Strong program management track record in planning, budgeting, execution, monitoring, and evaluation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Bahasa Indonesia proficiency (required)
