Job summary

Mineski Indonesia is seeking a motivated FP&A assistant to join our finance team in Jakarta. You will monitor project expenses, support budgeting, and assist with financial closures while maintaining accurate data and FP&A documentation.

You will collaborate with Finance and non-Finance stakeholders, analyze variances, and help improve FP&A processes and reporting. A 1–3 year background in FP&A or related roles is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related field.
• 1–3 years of FP&A, cost control, accounting, business finance, or related finance experience.
• Good understanding of budgeting, cost control, financial analysis and basic financial statements.
• Strong proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets and financial data handling.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies and variances.
• Good communication and coordination with Finance and non-Finance stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive and willing to learn, with interest in financial analysis, systems, automation, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project expenses and costs against approved budgets and identify variances or overruns.
• Coordinate with stakeholders before financial approval.
• Support and coordinate project financial closure and required financial information.
• Monitor overheads and CAPEX against budgets and highlight material variances.
• Review Finance approval requests for completeness, budget availability, and compliance.
• Maintain accurate financial data, trackers, and FP&A documentation for analysis and reporting.
• Support Senior Associate FP&A in analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
• Maintain and improve FP&A workflows to enhance efficiency and data visibility.
• Support ad hoc financial analysis and regional Finance initiatives as assigned.
