Job summary

PT. Prakasalanggeng MAJUBERSAMA is seeking an experienced Production Manager to plan and oversee fabrication schedules, allocate resources, and ensure on-time project completion at our EPC heavy equipment facilities in Indonesia.

You will monitor progress across cutting, welding, assembly and painting, coordinate with engineering and QA/QC, enforce HSE standards, optimize workflows, and report KPIs to management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience in production management, fabrication, or manufacturing within EPC, Heavy Equipment, or Oil & Gas industries.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Metallurgical Engineering or related field is required.
• Strong understanding of structural/tank fabrication, piping pre-fab, welding processes, and QC standards.
• Proficient with project management software (MS Project, Primavera) and CAD tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and high commitment to HSE standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee production schedules, resource allocation, workforce requirements, and material readiness to ensure timely project completion.
• Monitor progress, productivity, and work quality across shop fabrication activities (cutting, fit-up, welding, assembly, painting).
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, QA/QC, and field teams to resolve technical or operational issues.
• Ensure all fabrication activities comply with drawings, specs, and project quality plan.
• Implement and enforce Health, Safety, and Environment regulations throughout the production area.
• Optimize workflows and material usage to minimize waste (scrap).
• Prepare periodic reports on production progress, targets, and KPIs for management review.
• Evaluate subcontractor performance and manage workforce productivity during peak fabrication phases.
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Lean) within production.

Evaluate subcontractor performance and manage workforce productivity during the peak fabrication phase

Promote the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives (such as 5S or Lean methodologies) within the production environment

Requirement

Minimum of 5 years of work experience in production management, fabrication, or manufacturing within the EPC, Heavy Equipment, or Oil & Gas industries

Bachelor's degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field

Strong understanding of structural and tank fabrication, piping pre-fabrication, welding processes, and Quality Control standards

Proficient in using project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and CAD software

Strong leadership skills, effective communication, problem-solving abilities, and a high level of commitment to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards
