Job summary

Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay is seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Laundry Manager to support daily laundry operations and uphold our luxury service standards. You will supervise staff, ensure high-quality processing of linens and guest items, manage inventory and equipment, and contribute to a positive, safety-conscious work environment in a busy hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
• 2–3 years in laundry operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of laundry processes, fabric care and commercial equipment.
• Strong communication and organization, English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily laundry operations with the Director of Housekeeping.
• Train, supervise and motivate laundry staff to ensure excellence.
• Ensure all items are processed to quality standards and timelines.
• Monitor productivity, workflow and staff scheduling.
• Conduct quality inspections of linens, uniforms and guest items.
• Manage inventory of chemicals, supplies, linens and uniforms.
• Maintain and report on laundry equipment and maintenance issues.
• Enforce safety, hygiene and company policies.
• Prepare operational reports and maintain records.
• Address employee concerns and foster a positive work environment.

About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Laundry Manager to support the daily operations of the laundry department. The successful candidate will assist in supervising laundry staff, maintaining quality standards, ensuring efficient workflow, and supporting inventory and equipment management. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills and experience in laundry operations within hospitality, healthcare, or commercial laundry environments.

What You Will Do

• Assist the Director of Housekeeping in overseeing daily laundry operations.
• Supervise, train, and motivate laundry team members to achieve operational excellence.
• Ensure all laundry items are processed, cleaned, and delivered according to quality standards and timelines.
• Monitor productivity, workflow efficiency, and staff scheduling.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure cleanliness and proper handling of linens, uniforms, and guest items.
• Support inventory management of laundry chemicals, supplies, linens, and uniforms.
• Ensure laundry equipment is properly maintained and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Enforce workplace safety, hygiene, and company policies.
• Assist in preparing operational reports and maintaining accurate records.
• Handle employee concerns and contribute to a positive working environment.

What You Bring

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in laundry operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of laundry processes, fabric care, and commercial laundry equipment.
• Excellent communication and organization skills; reading, writing, and oralproficiencyin the English language. Knowledge of other foreign languages is a plus.
• Good leadership and team management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic reporting.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays when required.
