Job summary

We are seeking an IT support specialist in Semarang to install, configure, and maintain IT equipment, troubleshoot issues, and support ERP platforms within a garment manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes customer-service, documentation, and coordination with vendors, with a path for career growth in a leading textile and apparel company.

Qualifications

• Diploma/bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support (preferably in manufacturing/garment industry).
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, networking, and basic server management.
• Familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
• Problem-solving skills with a customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment (PCs, laptops, printers, network devices, etc.).
• Troubleshoot system errors and elevate complex problems when necessary.
• Support ERP systems and other manufacturing-related applications.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and ensure proper documentation.
• Assist in data backup, recovery, and system security monitoring.
• Coordinate with vendors for IT services and maintenance.
