Job summary

Pengiklan Anonim is seeking a senior Asset Manager to lead the full development lifecycle of oil and gas fields in Indonesia, from appraisal to first production, under the PSC framework with SKK Migas.

You will define development concepts, select facilities, and manage multidisciplinary teams across frontier regions, ensuring early cash flow while controlling CAPEX risk. Fluency in English and willingness to operate in remote terrains are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Geoscience.
• Minimum 15 years in Indonesian upstream oil and gas.
• Minimum 5 years leading greenfield, early-stage, or low-infrastructure field development in Indonesia.
• Direct experience managing field development in remote or frontier areas of Indonesia.
• Experience with SKK Migas FOP approval and WP&B processes.
• Proven track record bringing a field from development concept to first production.
• English Full Professional Proficiency.

• Plan and develop field infrastructure including CPF, EPF, storage, export terminals, and pipelines.
• Manage construction supervision and commissioning of new facilities.
• Establish production optimization frameworks for ramp‑up and well completion design.
• Develop artificial lift strategies for reservoir and infrastructure constraints.
• Build production forecasting models and decline analyses for investor reporting.

Job description

Responsible for taking early-stage or underdeveloped oil and gas assets from appraisal through to first oil/gas production, establishing field infrastructure from near-scratch, building operational teams, and navigating complex regulatory and logistical environments, while maximizing asset value under Indonesia's PSC framework with SKK Migas.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full development lifecycle of oil and gas fields
• Execute comprehensive Plans of Development (POD) and Integrated Development Strategies for low-infrastructure environments
• Define the development concept and philosophy, selecting appropriate technologies, facilities configurations, and phased development approaches suited to frontier conditions
• Lead concept screening and selection for production facilities, transportation (pipeline vs. trucking vs. barge), and export infrastructure
• Define minimum viable infrastructure strategies to achieve early cash flow while managing CAPEX risk
• Lead planning and development of all field infrastructure including access roads, power generation, Central Processing Facilities (CPF), Early Production Facilities (EPF), oil storage and export terminals, water injection and produced water management systems, flowlines, gathering systems, trunk pipelines, camp facilities, warehouses, logistics bases, and communications infrastructure
• Manage construction supervision and commissioning of new facilities
• Establish production optimization frameworks for the ramp‑up phase and oversee well completion design suited to frontier field conditions
• Develop artificial lift strategies appropriate for reservoir characteristics and infrastructure constraints
• Build production forecasting models and decline curve analyses for investor reporting

About you

• Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Geoscience
• Minimum 15 years in Indonesian upstream oil and gas
• Minimum 5 years leading greenfield, early-stage, or low-infrastructure field development in Indonesia
• Direct experience managing field development in remote or frontier areas of Indonesia (Sumatra interior, Kalimantan, Papua, Sulawesi, or equivalent)
• Proven experience with SKK Mikas FOP approval and WP&B processes
• Demonstrated track record of bringing a field from development concept to first production
• Experience building and leading multidisciplinary teams in challenging environments
• English Full Professional Proficiency
• Valid driving license and willingness to operate in remote terrain
• Able to pass company medical requirements
