Job Purpose

The Assembly and Test Supervisor oversees the assembly and testing processes to ensure they meet quality standards and production goals. Responsibilities include managing a team of technicians, coordinating schedules, and ensuring safety compliance. Promoting LEAN Manufacturing and continuous improvement activities is also key.

Job Description
  • Supervise and manage the assembly and test team for efficient and accurate production.
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet deadlines and optimize workflow.
  • Monitor output and quality control to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Train new employees on techniques, safety protocols, and policies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues during assembly and testing.
  • Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and quality control departments for seamless production.
  • Implement strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Set objectives, coordinate training, and manage rewards and disciplinary actions.
  • Drive the team to meet objectives through LEAN and stabilized processes.
You are meant for this job if:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field preferred.
  • 5-7 years of subsea experience.
  • Proven supervisory experience in manufacturing or assembly.
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate and manage a diverse team to exceed targets.
  • Flexible and open to night shifts.
